HI DEAR

I'm Ioana Banut,— founder of The Space ™.

For years, I've devoted my work to guiding women back into their own power — the kind that lets her move, decide, and create from a place of trust in herself.

Back into their wisdom. Back into their softness. Back into enough room, inside themselves, to finally take up space — not just in the world around them, but in their own bodies, their own decisions, their own expression.

My work weaves together coaching psychology from the West and the philosophy of the East. — the stillness of breath and sound alongside the clarity of real strategy.

Through embodiment coaching, breathwork, sound healing, and women's circles, I help women come home to a version of themselves that speaks freely, takes up room, and trusts her own timing.

It expands into mentorship, courses, and retreats — many paths, all circling back to the same center: helping women express who they actually are, outwardly, unapologetically, with the same confidence they've reclaimed within.

WHAT I DO

My work lives at the intersection of mind, body, and spirit.

The wisdom of the body is at the heart of everything I do as an embodiment coach — guiding women through the transitions of finding their voice, and the confidence to take up more space in their own lives.

Through 1:1 work, retreats, and online courses, I create spaces for women to transform, become resourced, and return to a way of living that feels fully theirs.

I am devoted to this truth: when a woman learns to take up space inside herself — to trust her own intuition, her own clarity, her own power — she naturally learns how to take up more space around her, too. In her relationships. In her work. In the world she's building.

CAREER ON PURPOSE

Career on Purpose didn't start as a business idea. It started as my own STUCK — the moment I ran out of "safe" choices and had to actually ask myself what I wanted, maybe for the first time in my adult life.

What began as my own reckoning — leaving behind the roles that looked responsible but never once felt like me — became a method for getting honest, regulating the fear that had been running the show, and finally trusting my own next move.

It's built on the same foundation as everything I do: East meets West, body meets strategy. Nervous-system regulation and embodiment practice, paired with real, concrete steps forward — because clarity was never going to arrive from thinking harder. It had to be felt in the body first.

Every woman I've worked with since has taught me the same thing, in her own way: the block was never a lack of skill. It was a nervous system that never learned it was safe to want something.

MY PATH

I didn't arrive here with one training, or one teacher.

For almost 10 years, I've been immersed in exploring my inner world (funny, after another 10 spent exploring the outer one) — through different modalities and practices. And I came to understand that my path (until now), has never belonged to one tradition or modality (though sometimes I wished so much for the idea of fitting into just one) — it's a holistic practice, drawn from many. What I personally like to call it: blending the wisdom of the East with the strategy of the West.

I studied the nervous system — through Strategic Intervention coaching, learning the tools to actually work with the mind, and Embodiment Coaching, learning how to bring that same change into the body. Both became key tools, not only in my work, but in my day-to-day life.

I followed the yogic path in India, understanding a philosophy of life that lives beyond the body and the mind. And I found the power of sound and mantras, through Tibetan sound bowl healing in the Himalayas, Nepal.

And underneath all of it — my relationship to my own cycle, my own womb. The place where I first learned what it actually means to take up space, on my own terms, in my own rhythm.

Today, my journey back into my body and my presence continues — lived and expressed through ongoing therapy support, yoga, retreats, countless hours of breathwork, meditation, and painting.

ROOTS

I live immersed in different modalities (coaching, embodiment work, breathwork, sound healing, meditation) and traditions (yoga philosophy, Buddhist and other Eastern philosophies) that are addressing different parts of my experience — connected with different teachers and practitioners who continue to support me through my unfolding journey. I believe that different things work at different points in our life and experience.

I was born in Romania, and since a young age  I went on a work traveling experience. And ended up living in over 7 countries for a longer period. I’ve seen a lot of cultures around the world and continents and it is this diversity that allows me to speak to women across cultures, backgrounds and lived experiences.

RETREATS, BREATHORK AND SOUND

A gateway into the soul. There's only so much the mind can do alone.

REBIRTHING BREATHWORK

I remember the exact moment, during my own breathwork facilitation training, when something shifted that no amount of thinking ever could have reached. It's stayed with me since — that breath can take you somewhere your mind can't talk you into. Now it's one of the doors I offer women into their own space — a place breath can reach before words ever could.

HIMALAYAN SINGING BOWLS AND MANTRAS

I trained in sound bowl healing in the Himalayas, and it taught me something I hadn't expected — that even our hardest emotions can be sung, not just spoken. That mantra isn't about getting the words right. It's about quieting a mind that won't stop narrating, long enough to connect with your soul.

Now it's one of the ways I offer women rest that doesn't require struggling for it — a bowl that moves you past the thinking mind, into the kind of deep quiet most of us are starving for.

RETREATS

Women have gathered in circles since ancient times — around fire, in red tents. and under the stars. I've sat in both seats — held, and holding. I've led women's circles, and every time, the same thing amazes me: how much we release and connect simply by being witnessed.

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS

For a long time, women have been told — sometimes directly, mostly not — what to be, how to show up. From the culture we grew up in, from TV, and now, more than ever, from social media.

So many competing definitions, stacked on top of each other, until it's hard to tell which parts are actually yours.

When a woman makes space for herself — to feel, to want, to decide, to rest, in her own way — it doesn't stay contained to her alone. It changes how she shows up in her relationships. How she leads at work. How she parents, if she's a mother. How she takes up room in a conversation instead of shrinking to keep the peace.

That's why this work matters. Not because the world needs more confident women for its own sake — but because every woman who comes home to herself makes it a little easier for the next one to find her way too.
